OYAP Trust Young Creative Leaders Training Programme.
OYAP Trust is the youth arts development agency for Oxfordshire and is dedicated providing creative opportunities to young people, especially those at risk.
OYAP Trust has developed a new training programme giving emerging artists and entrepreneurs support at the very early stages of their careers. At the end of the programme these cultural leaders will be fully equipped to deliver successful youth arts projects in their communities. OYAP Trust are giving young people a step up into a career in the arts whilst developing more opportunities for vulnerable young people to embrace the arts.
In this blog Sam, Emma, Jo, Sarah, Jo, Sony, Alice, Caroline and Maddy will track their progress on the pilot programme as they learn how to plan, fund, manage, deliver and evaluate their own youth arts projects and develop their leadership skills.
We are also using this blog to share the Arts Award work of the young people who are involved in our projects.
